We were on TV!

Hey guys! Whats Up? :)

Last Friday, LOL performed and did interviews on KUTV Channel 2!
The news reporters there were really nice and made it even more fun. I hadn't been looking forward to waking up so early (we had to be at the news station at 5:20 in the morning!), but as soon as we got to the news station I didn't feel sleepy anymore. We performed "One Way Ticket," "While We're Young," and "Keep On Walking By."

You can watch part of the interview on the KUTV morning show website for October 24.
At the end of the show, the news anchors said they wanted to dance along with us. I didn't think they really would, but they totally got into it! They were such funny dancers. We also got to meet Kaycee Stroh who plays Martha Cox (the pop-and-lock girl) in all three High School Musical movies! And Ryne Sanborn who plays Jason Cross as a Wildcat basketball player.

They are super nice. We gave them each an LOL CD.
Rock on!

News from Christian (AND THE MUSIC VIDEO!!!!)

Hey everyone .... what's up? I love autumn, don't you!? It's like we're living in a big bowl of Trix cereal! I think it's probably one of the most beautiful times of the year. I hope everyone is liking the C.D. It's now in Walmart! (go LOL!) And we want to thank all of you who have posted comments on our blog! So here's a little shout out to: megan, bmm101, courtney, brie, nicole, ali, benton, penny, taylor, lillie, tess, and kay! You're awesome! :)

High school is still great!! I'm loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooovin it! I hope everyone is loving school as much as I am. My favorite subject would have to be Geography. I think it's really important that we take our education seriously because in the long run, it's gonna be worth it! Also, I don't know about you, but sometimes I hear swearing in my school. I know a lot of people don't appreciate swearing so stand up for yourself and those around you. Swearing becomes a habit ... so try not to start.

Last weekend we were in Utah for B.Y.U.'s Homecoming. We went to Homecoming Spectacular in the Marriott Center! It is a show that honors past alumni and features a lot of the B.Y.U. performing groups. Our choreographer for LOL, Daysha, performed in the show! Way to go Dash!! She is amazing! Elder Oaks was there and I was able to meet him and shake his hand. It was awesome! And of course on Saturday was the big football game!! Go Cougars!!! Anyway, I gotta go......my mom's yelling at me to come and practice piano!!!

Later-
Christian

Oh I almost forgot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUR MUSIC VIDEO! It's on our video page, but here it is for all you blog followers. You can also check it out on YouTube. I hope you'll send it to all your friends so a TON of people watch it on YouTube! And let us know what you think. :)

Pictures and News from Tara

Hi guys!

Well, I'm getting used to Junior High, now that I've memorized the way to all my classes! One of my friends walked into a class the other day and the teacher said, "Bonjour!" And then my friend realized she was sitting in the wrong class - a French class instead of Spanish class!

I love acting! Here's a picture of me acting with a mime. He was at the mall and I joined his show. I just copied him and then we ended up having a dance-off, it was so funny.

Here's another picture I wanted to show you guys of me jumping off a cliff. (Into safe water of course!)

My big brother and sister (and my little brother) are never afraid of jumping off high things, so I pretended I wasn't afraid either, even though I was a little. But I just started running and tried not to think about it. After that, it wasn't scary anymore - just fun.

That reminds of starting a new school. I just had to go for it, and now I love 7th grade! I'm still getting used to my locker though...It's up so high and I'm one of the shortest kids in school so I can barely reach the locker combination! Oh well, I'll grow!

Rock On!

Love, Tara

We filmed our first music video on Saturday!! It's going to be awesome. It's to the song "Keep on Walking By." It was an all day shoot but I was totally up for the challenge. I hope you guys will like it! Here are a couple pictures ... there are more on the Photos Page on our website.

Tara's Summer

Hey Everyone,

I hope you like the website! I love all the bright colors - especially my favorites - pink and green!

Summer has been very eventful and fun! I've been dancing a lot with my dance studio and cheer leading practice, and I've been busy recording our LOL CD!

Recording the CD took a lot of hours and days, so it's a good thing I had Taylor and Christian there. Taylor is so energetic and fun. Christian is hilarious and always funny! We would take turns singing in the studio and when it wasn't our turn we would hang out making up games and jumping on the trampoline. I love doing trampoline tricks!

I also got to go to a girl's camp with our church this summer. We learned so many things about life and how to be happy. It made me realize how much we all have to be grateful for! It always pays off to be nice to others. It's contagious too! My big sister was there also. I love my sister, Kimberly! She took care of me so I never got homesick!

We just got back from a family vacation in Cancun, Mexico. One night when my mom, sister, and I were sitting near the water, we saw a huge mother turtle swim out of the ocean! It started walking onto the sand and then it started digging a hole to lay eggs! We watched it for hours. It took a long time. It was so amazing to see how much work that mom went to for her babies! We finally left to go to sleep and in the morning, the hotel lifeguards had guarded the eggs so that the birds wouldn't get them. We got to hold the baby turtles - they are so cute and adorable! Life is a miracle! Then, the lifeguards let them go on the sand and they all ran into the ocean! It was the coolest thing ever.

I saw tons of kids my age in Mexico. One time we were on a bus and a guy my age got up and started singing, then passed his hat around and people put money in it! I thought, "I would like to do that!" I love entertaining and making people happy. I realized kids in Mexico and all over the world have the same desires. That's why I love the lyrics on our LOL CD. They make me feel good and make me want to reach for higher goals. I hope you enjoy them too. :)

See you later!
~Tara

p.s. I'm starting Junior High School this week! It's kind of scary but I'm also excited. Hope you're liking your new school year and being happy!

It's Taylor!

Hey everybody! How do you like the site?! And how has your summer been? Mine has been awesome! We have had LOL practice for almost 4 hours every day for the past month which allows me to spend more time with Christian and Tara. :) Yay! After practice, I come home, do my chores, and then hang out with some of my other friends.

At the beginning of the summer my family and I went to Las Vegas and watched the super cross finals and we also went to see the BLUE MAN GROUP. I laughed so hard, it is my favorite show ever.

But even better, we went to the Atlantis Hotel in the BAHAMAS! I couldn’t get enough of the tropical sun. I went down a slide with sharks, saw the biggest manta ray ever, played in one of the largest water parks in the world, and I got to spend time with my family and a very good friend there. I would have to say this has been my favorite summer yet!

School starts next week for Tara and I. I can’t believe the summer is already over. But I’m excited for school to start. So yeah! That’s what’s going on! I’ll blog more later!

Love,

Taylor

Hey from Christian!

Hey everyone! It's Christian here. Welcome to our website (and our blog)! I thought I’d stop by and tell everyone what’s been going on.

I had an awesome summer. Recording the LOL CD was killer! Tara and Taylor are so fun to be around! It was a lot of hard work though. We had to learn each song and all the harmonies. We usually recorded one song a day and some days I wanted to pull my hair out, but it was still awesome!

I also went to EFY (Especially for Youth) and I think everyone should go. You learn a lot of valuable lessons and meet a lot of cool kids who have the same standards as you! One of the many things I learned there was to be honest. I was just thinking about this again the other day. When you're honest, you build character and people trust you! Doesn’t everyone want their parents to trust them? (Ya!) But when you're dishonest, you hurt others. Plus, YOU HURT YOURSELF TOO!!! So be honest! It's a no brainer!

Another HUGE part of my summer was Scouts. I’ve worked a long time to get my Eagle (the highest rank you can get in Scouts). One of the things I had to do to get it was a project that benefited the community or a certain organization. I decided to landscape a swampy area on the side of the road in my little town. Do you know how many freakin’ hours I worked on that?! ALOT!!! Talk about dying!! I really can't believe I'm actually talking to you. Halleluiah!!! I'm still alive!!! Ha ha. Anyhow, I finished all my requirements and received my eagle on July 16.

And lastly, I went surfing in California (check out the photo page) and hung out with my family and friends a ton. Don’t you think family and friends are so important?! Family members are kinda like your cheerleaders in life. They're going to stick with you no matter what! And who doesn't like hangin’ and talking w/ your friends? My friends are pretty darn COOL!! But I really think you have to be careful when you're choosing your friends. You gotta choose friends that encourage you to be your best self!

So there’s my summer! School starts for me on August 21! Hope everyone is ready!!! Yipee! Aren't we so excited?! Thanks again for stopping by out site and checkin’ out the music. Hope you like it! And hope we can come perform at your school soon!

Later,
Christian
